Flavorful Variations to Try for This Harvest Fall Salad

Do you struggle with having your family enjoy eating salad?

If your kids are not quite fond of salads, maybe they have not tried this fall salad recipe just yet.

Salad can actually be made tasty and the secret is in the combination of the veggies, greens, and dressing.

A great-tasting dressing makes a HUGE difference in the taste of your salad.

Sure, you can find dozens of salad dressings at the store but I am not a huge fan of those things. If you read the ingredients, you are bound to find a few that your body is better off without.

This is why I strongly advise you to make your own dressing because not only is it easy to make but it can also save you money by making a big batch of dressing at a fraction of the cost.

And the most important thing about homemade salad dressing is the nutritive value. You no longer have to feed your body with all the nasty stuff and chemicals that some dressings you can find in the store contain.

We’re talking pure, natural, and oh-so-tasty homemade dressing for your harvest fall salad!

Fun Way to Make Your Harvest Fall Salad Look Good (and Taste Great!)

Some people connote salad with just greens.

You know, just green lettuce and balsamic vinegar, and that’s about it.

But this harvest fall salad has so much more than that.

In fact, you can do variations with it to make more flavorful and colorful.

You can add a cup of shredded raw beets, carrots, rutabaga, pomegranates, and jicama to your plate of salad, along with your greens.

And of course, we have our “secret sauce”, our homemade harvest fall salad dressing that’s nothing like those store-bought ones!

You will be amazed by how easy, quick, and simple it actually is to make a salad dressing.

So are you ready to get started? Whip up this nutritious fall salad harvest recipe below that you can make in minutes!

  • I tried this salad several years ago, and literally bought the cookbook JUST so I could make sure I always had the recipe. It’s absolutely addictive if you like a sweeter salad dressing! It also lasts several days in the fridge, so even though the rest of my family won’t touch it (they only like Ranch dressing…), I can always finish it myself before it goes bad. Absolutely love it!
