Pumpkin Pie Leather Recipe

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor.
  • Spread thinly on the silicone mats of your dehydrator.
  • Dehydrate for 10 hours (or more, as needed)
  • Peel the pumpkin pie leather off of the silicone mats.
  • Cut into squares or strips and roll up
  • Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Serving Ideas:
You could wrap it around a cookie or between two cookies, or you could put it on toast.
But most importantly, I think just eating it as is and giving the kids a nice treat is what's most important. 
Or, you could just open them back up and add a little bit of cream cheese in the middle and then roll it back up and you would have the perfect appetizer!
