whole wheat flour or oat flour
ground oats

cups (1.5 L)
apple slices
peeled
▢

teaspoon
cinnamon
▢

cup (240 ml)
sucanat with honey or honey crystals
▢

cup (60 ml)
water
▢
1/3
cup (75 ml)
quick oats
▢
1/3
cup (75 ml)
butter
Optional (for enhanced flavor)

Chopped cranberries or chopped nuts
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F or 180°C.
Place sliced apples in a 10” x 6” baking dish. Add some water.
In a bowl, combine flour, oats, sucanat, and cinnamon.
Using a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle mixture over apples.
Bake for 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
