14 Ways To Understand God's Love For You

The worst feeling in the world - above all else  - is loneliness. And the second worst feeling is to believe you are not loved.

I am here to say - both those feelings are no more!

You are not alone and you are loved!

And I can prove it!

We can look in every direction at the innumerable, wonderful and beautiful designs–they are for us to admire and to wonder who made it all?

God’s love is in his handiwork–the depth of the oceans, the expanse of the sky, the deepest green in the trees and the array of colors in the birds.

Yet–God loves YOU more than all his creation because he created you for a personal relationship with him.

Our God, who created all this wonder, is the same God who formed you! He desires you to know him!

To do this, he sent his only son to live on earth to pay the price for sin so that we can know true love.

14 Ways to Understand God's Love For You!

God demonstrates his love for us

1 John 4:9-10 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

He loves us enough to forgive

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

He loved you before you were born

Psalm 139: 13-16 For thou didst form my inward parts; thou didst weave me in my mother’s womb. I give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, and my souls knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from Thee, When I was made in secret and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth. Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Thy book they were written.

He loves us and sent a helper ~ the Holy Spirit

Romans 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

You cannot be separated from His Love

Romans 8:38–39 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It is an everlasting love

Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, I have drawn you with lovingkindness.

It never changes

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Jesus Loves You

John 15:9 As the Father has loved me, so have I (Jesus) loved you. Abide in my love.

When we personally receive and acknowledge that love, we are His children

1 John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

No one can take away the love of the Father.

John 10:29 My Father, who has given them to Me (Jesus), is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

You are never alone

Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave you or forsake you.

He helps you overcome

1 John 4:4 You are from God, little children and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he that is in the world.

We can love others

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

Now that you can see, feel, and understand this love – join me in singing this psalm together:

Praise the Lord!

Praise God in His sanctuary;

Praise Him in His mighty expanse.

Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

Praise Him with trumpet sound:

Praise Him with harp and lyre.

Praise Him with timbrel and dancing:

Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.

Praise Him with loud cymbals;

Praise Him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord! God Loves You! Jesus – our Messiah – loves you!
