I also added a chickpea protein to this smoothie, which helps to rebuild the microbiome.
Every time we have any health issue, the challenge always starts in the gut. So if I am having a good protein every day that's got the intentional purpose of healing the microbiome, then I know I'm always doing good and I don't have to second guess what I'm buying.

Ingredients
- 6 ounces kefir
- 1/2 cup organic greens (kale, spinach, or other greens)
- 2 tablespoons flax seed
- 2/3 cup blueberries frozen
- 1/2 cup celery organic
- 1 organic apple medium-sized
- 1 inch fresh turmeric
- 1 inch fresh ginger
- 1 scoop protein powder
- a dash of black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
